Dr. Bicks utilizes the best of modern science and Mother Nature to formulate all HealthyPetNet products. She is the author of three national books on pet care and nutrition and has served on professional boards including the Cornell Feline Health Center. In 1994 Dr. Jane was appointed by New York City Major Rudolph Giuliani to help set up the largest animal shelter in the world, the Center of Animal Care and Control.

I have been raising Boxers now since 1987. It wasn't until May 17, 1999, when my one special girl passed on suddenly from bloat/torsion, that I discovered the gruesome facts of what's really in most of those popular commercial dog and cat foods. I learned that I had been feeding my babies garbage, literally, and I was also poisoning them slowly with the toxic chemical preservatives and by-products (waste), as well as loading them up with fillers that had NO nutritional value whatsoever! What a realization I came to!

This was a major turning point in my life, and it was at this point that I realized the importance of proper pet nutrition, and immersed myself in the education process. I have since been a strong advocate for all natural & holistic dog and cat foods, and the desire to get all pet owners to switch to all natural foods is my long-term life goal.

Our pets rely on us for their health, happiness and well-being. One of the most important decisions we can make, as responsible pet owners, is to feed a high quality natural pet food, that will help our pets live the healthiest, happiest and longest life possible!
