Scour-Aid
For the all-natural treatment of diarrhea
in all pets, animals and livestock.
 We
are proud to announce Scour-aid, an all natural dry product that
can be either top-dressed, mixed into food/feed, or mixed in water or
milk. Scour-Aid's main ingredient is bentonite, a finely ground
clay that traps water, toxins, viruses, bacteria, radiation, heavy
metals, and other small particles. It does this by actually
pulling them into its porous body and keeping them there even after it
has left the animal body. Unlike pectin, which is another ingredient in
Scour-aid, it isn't broken down by microorganisms and is inert to the
animal body. Scour-aid can be used internally for the treatment of
diarrhea and externally (as a thick paste) on cuts and abscesses.
Scour-aid works in both
dogs and cats and controls diarrhea no matter whether it is viral,
bacterial, or protozoan in origin. It should be used in
conjunction with MSE Natural Defense.
Like pectin, bentonite is a quick fix. It does not necessarily address
the original problem, which is often stress. Together with
MSE Natural Defense, it can stop the
loss of valuable electrolytes and allow reestablishment of the
indigenous microflora.
Like pectin, bentonite can
only work while it is in the body. It has no residual effects. Feeding
it more often promotes constant diarrhea control.
Recommendations for
animals that are eating: Top-dress or mix in food/feed

Cats and small dogs
(<20 lb) - 1 teaspoon once or twice per day

Medium sized dogs (20
- 40 lb.) - 2 teaspoons once or twice per day

Large dogs (>60 lb) -
1 Tablespoon once or twice per day

Cattle and horses -
1/4 to 1/2 cup daily

Calves and foals - 2
teaspoons to 1 T once or twice daily

Alpacas and sheep - 2
teaspoons to 1 T (under 100 lb.) to 2 T (over 100 lb.) once or twice
daily

40 lb./ton
May be mixed with water,
milk, or milk replacer and given orally.
Recommendations for
animals that are not eating:
IMPORTANT:
Mix well when adding to any liquid. May thicken and/or settle quickly.
Works within 24 hours, but may need to be repeated for several days.
Scour-aid is safe to use
with cats, does not contain aspirin like Kaopectate.
Should be used together
with MSE Natural Defense,
Paste or
Drench.
